Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). It started its academic activities from 1996 under the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. The department provides an outstanding opportunity to students to get quality education in CSE. The students from the department are heavily recruited by both academia and industry. We invite you to explore the information here to learn more about our department.

The Department offers four year undergraduate courses in computer science and engineering and one year M.Sc. program. The programs have been designed to provide an innovative, interdisciplinary education that prepares students in emerging computer science applications for academia and IT industry. Our graduate programs enable you to participate in the creation of knowledge in cutting-edge fields within computer science. Our faculty members maintain active research in Algorithms, Databases, Software Engineering, Computer Network, Network Security, Distributed Computing, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Bio-Informatics. To get more information about our research please explore our faculty member’s research interest and specialization. The department also offers M.Phill and PhD for our young scientist.
